Join in with our #CraftyPJParty!
At the end of July we're hosting a virtual pyjama party and we would love to have you join in! We're inviting sewists on Instagram and our Facebook Group to share a handmade pair of pyjamas on the 30th July and enter a competition where they can win a prize from us and some of our favourite sewing brands who are sponsoring the party.
The party is going to coincide with our Crafty Sewing Camp, which we're hosting in Leicestershire in person (YES! You read that right - we are meeting in person!) with sewists staying on site and some coming with day tickets (some day tickets are still available if you are tempted to join us). After a lovely day of free sewing and sewing workshops, we're having a PJ party to relax and have fun in the evening and we think it would be wonderful to have the wider sewing community join in too.
Here is how you can join in with the party-
- Start by telling people that you're joining in by sharing our post over on Instagram or in your favourite sewing groups on Facebook.
- Start sewing your pyjamas if you're making a new pair for the party (we happen to have some fabulous options you can download from our pattern shop!)
- Share photos of your sewing progress on Facebook or Instagram
- On Instagram, join in with the daily Stories prompts which we'll post each day the week beginning 26th July.
- ON Friday 30th JULY - Share your finished pyjamas!
We want this party to be inclusive to all sewists; everyone is welcome to join in! To make it inclusive, the pyjamas you share don't have to be made especially for the party, they can be for you or another person, and we'd like people to join in from anywhere in the world.
The hashtag for the event is going to be #CraftyPJParty, please remember to use it in any Instagram posts to join in with the party.
Rules for the give away-
To enter the competition you need to post your finished pyjamas on either "the Crafty Sew & So's" Facebook group or using #CraftyPJParty on Instagram on 30th July. The winner of the prize will be chosen between the party sponsors, and the decision is final. Family and friends of the sponsors will not be eligible to win.
