Learn to sew with us over three sessions on our beginners course. We'll take you from the absolute beginning of setting up your sewing machine, through fun and beginner friendly projects, giving you advice and guidance every step of the way.
Our workshops are limited to four people, keeping the class size small enough for everyone to get lots of support from the tutor.

Week one- Start as you Mean to Sew On
Learn how to use a sewing machine in this introductory class for complete beginners to machine sewing and make a needle case and envelope cushion to show off your new skills!
Week Two - Fabric Baskets
Learn how to make a practical and pretty fabric basket using cotton fabrics and wadding.
Week Three - Tote Bag
Learn to make a simple tote bag with fabric handles, boxed out corners and a handy pocket.
What you will learn:
- Set up your sewing machine and tackle basic troubleshooting.
- Get the most out of your sewing space and time.
- Sew confidently in simple straight lines and simple curves, and construct five projects over four weeks.
