Patchwork and Quilting - Sew a Memory Quilt
Don't leave your memories in a suitcase in the attic! Learn how to make a beautiful blanket from your baby or child's clothes.
Use pre-loved onesies and other baby clothing to make this lovely blanket which will be treasured for years to come.
In this workshop you will learn to:
Cut out jersey accurately and use interfacing to support it.
Use a sewing machine to piece together a simple patchwork design.
Layer a 'quilt sandwich'
Use bias binding to finish a quilt.
What is included:
Use of sewing machines and equipment.
cotton backing fabric
Tea and biscuits.
This workshop is run as private single or group lessons and is ideal as a group project to work on with family and friends.
Pricing will depend in the size of quilt required.

What you will need to bring:
10-20 onesies in newborn+ sizes.
You can also use kids t-shirts and other flat-ish garments.
