A full risk assessment has been carried out by our team at the venue to ensure all safety points which can be met are.
Expectations of Venue
We are capping tickets to 80% off the total venue capacity to allow for extra room for social distancing.
We have exclusive use of the entire venue, including two reception rooms and the bar, as well as the ball room, so there will be space for everyone to move around safely.
The City Rooms meets the 'We're Good To Go' industry standards, as explained by Visit Britain -
"The ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and supporting mark means businesses across the sector can demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and check they have the required processes in place."
Expectations of Guests
Guests are asked to take a lateral flow test before attending The Dressmakers Ball to ensure that everyone is safe and no one is inadvertently passing on the virus.
Guests do not have to show proof of vaccination status to attend the ball, however we do support vaccinations and encourage everyone who is able to have theirs to do so.
Guests are welcome to make and wear a facemask at the ball. It provides a fun opportunity to accessorise your outfit with a matching mask.
All guests are politely reminded to respect other peoples personal space and remain aware that people have different comfort zones within public spaces. Please be thoughtful as you enjoy the ball.
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. In the event that you are not able to attend the ball, due to Covid or other reasons, you are welcome to sell on or gift your ticket. Please inform us in writing as soon as possible, and no later than the 30th September 2022.
