9”/23cm regular zip, button or skirt hook for pleated/gathered, 30cm light to medium weight fusible interfacing.
Sharp fabric scissors, sewing machine with regular needle, sharp pins, basic sewing tools.
It is vitally important, when sewing your own clothes, to take accurate measurements of your body, and not rely on the sizing you expect to buy on the high street. This is why we’ve switch out the usual sizes (eg, 8-22) for our own system of numbers 1-8. You have to measure yourself to pick your size!
