We are so excited to be planning Crafty Sewing Camp for the second year running!  Everyone had such a fantastic experience at last years camp, relishing in spending a whole weekend with fun sewists, putting in quality time with the sewing machine and not worrying about a thing!

This years Camp will follow a very similar format.  It's a three-day event where you enjoy re-living the classic 'summer camp' experience while immersing yourself in the sewing community and spend the whole weekend sewing!  You can spend the whole weekend indulging in your favourite hobby with friends.

Where are we camping?

Beaumanor Hall is a beautiful Victorian country house located in Woodhouse, Leicestershire.  The facilities we will be using include classrooms with plenty of plug sockets and natural light, a large sports hall where the main events will be taking place and there will be space for socialising and handcrafts, a large open grass space for relaxing and some outdoor sewing (weather permitting), a dedicated campfire space and dorm blocks with social break-out areas which will be used for small workshops and food.  

The estate is set in 34 acres of idyllic countryside, Beaumanor has been run by Leicestershire County Council since the 1970’s and plays host to a variety of events including weddings, conferences, kids activity days and Scouts and Guide camps.
