This fun and feminine, button-through skirt features swishy flared panels to create a cute 70s retro look.  The pattern includes lots of fun techniques to develop your skills.  You can choose to add patch pockets, belt loops and jeans buttons or poppers to the front opening for endless variations.  

We think this style is super versatile.  The Button Up Skirt looks fabulous in chunky corduroy for a cosy Autumn look, paired with bight tights and chunky boots to see you through the cool weather.  You will find yourself reaching for it time and time again.

Alternatively, sew up the skirt in the short length in a breezy linen or viscose twill for a cool beach style to pop on over a swimsuit.

It vital when sewing your own clothes to take accurate measurements of your body, and not rely on the sizing you expect to buy on the high street. This is why we’ve switch out the usual sizes (eg, 8-22) for our own system of numbers 1-8. You have to measure yourself to pick your size!

Our size range fits from a waist 66cm or 26" to 109cm 43".  Check the size chart below to choose the right size for you.
