Tie Dye Pyjama Shorts!
When Hayley from Kiwi and the Bear joined us to teach a Tie-Dying workshop, I knew I had to get in on the action!
During the session our customers enjoyed learning a range of clever tie-dying techniques and applying these to a variety of products. At the end of the session there was a little due left so I folded and tied up a piece of plain white cotton lawn and picked a combination of pink and blue (to stay on brand, of course!) and enjoyed creating a unique pattern.
When I washed out my fabric the next day, I was so exited to see the design the dye created! I hung it out with a few other, smaller pieces of cotton I'd dyed at the same time, and enjoyed watching the beautiful fabric dry in the breeze.
I've been in a bit of a pyjama making mood these last two months, and knew I wanted to make a pair of shorts out of my freshly tie-dyed lawn too! I used our Pyjama Shorts pattern, without the frill, for a fun and quick project, and I'm super happy with how they've turned out- they're perfect for summer!
If you want to try a this fun technique then book in to our next Tie-Dye Workshop - but do so quickly! These fun sessions are booking up fast!
You could also book in to our pyjama workshops- to make the shorts or for full length pyjamas!
