One of my favourite tasks at the shop is planning and sewing the outfits for the window displays!

For the early summer window I've put together some of my favourite foliage print fabrics and some perfectly summery patterns!

I'm really really excited to use one of our new double gauze to make a Tilly and the Buttons Stevie Dress.  The Shimmer Sage double gauze is so pretty and soft and floaty- it's going to be a beautiful relaxed dress for summer evenings.

When the new Lady McElroy jersey arrived I know it needed to make a My Handmade Wardrobe Cosy Jersey Dress!  This pattern is super versatile, and works beautiful in single jerseys as a dress,as well as thicker weights for the tunic.  

I've wanted to make a Closet Case Patterns Charlie for ages, so when this gorgeous cotton sateen came in, I knew it would be perfect!  I can't wait to sew this one up!

Lastly, you might not think the Nora top by Tilly and the Buttons is a summer top- seeing as the main variation is a jumper.  But the pattern also includes t-shirt versions, which I'm going to make up in our new new slub jersey!
