Why you should join us for a sewing class in 2023

We've been teaching sewing workshops for almost 9 years, which feels like an incredibly long time!  But we love it, it's our favourite part of running Crafty Sew and So.  Going to a sewing class can be a great way to learn a new skill and explore your creativity. Here are a few reasons why going to a sewing class can be a good idea:

  1. Learn new techniques: Sewing classes can teach you a variety of techniques, from basic stitches to more advanced skills like fitting patterns and working with different fabrics.

  2. Improve your skills: If you already know how to sew but want to improve your skills, a sewing class can help you do that. You can learn new techniques and get feedback from a instructor to help you fine-tune your skills.

 
3. Meet new people: Sewing classes can be a great way to meet new people who share your interest in sewing. You can learn from each other and make new friends.
 
4. Be creative: Sewing is a creative activity that allows you to express yourself through your projects. A sewing class can give you the opportunity to explore your creativity and try new things.
 
5. Relax: Sewing can be a therapeutic activity that helps you relax and de-stress. A sewing class can provide a calm and relaxing environment where you can focus on your projects and forget about your daily worries.
 

 

Overall, going to a sewing class can be a great way to learn a new skill, improve your skills, meet new people, be creative, and relax.  There are so many reasons we love running them!
