About this Workshop...

Most of us wear jersey fabrics as part of our everyday wardrobe, but sewing with them can seem intimidating with the wide variety of knit structures and fibre mixes available. In this class you will learn how to how to recognise, cut and sew jersey fabrics.

I'll talk you through a selection of fabric samples to help you learn how to recognise different knit fabrics and then we will discuss how to set up your machine for sewing jersey, what stitches and settings to use and some top tips for success! This is the perfect introduction to jersey fabric before starting your first jersey clothing project- Why not follow on and try our simple tee workshop?

During the workshop you will learn how to:

Recognise and work with different types of jersey fabric

Set up your sewing machine to work with different fabrics

What is included:

Jersey Fabric samples and a written guide

A recording of the Live Online Workshop

NOTE: It will be useful for you to have your sewing machine set up to refer to - you will need to have a machine which does a zigzag or stretch stitch to sew jersey fabrics

You will receive a swatch pack through the post a few days after placing your order so you can complete your tactile learning experience.

We hope you enjoy learning all about jersey fabrics.

Happy Stroking, Happy Learning and Happy Sewing!
