Recommended Fabrics
We recommend a stable stretch fabric with approx. 20-50% 2 way stretch for this pattern. Suitable fabrics include: Sweatshirt, ponte roma, fleece, velour and French terry.
An elastane mix fabric will prevent your hoodie from going baggy during wear.
Why not take a look at our great range of jersey fabrics for this pattern.
Fabric 150cm / 60" wide:
- For main body stable knit fabric 175cm
- For the hood lining and pocket bags: Single jersey 50cm

Sharp fabric scissors, ballpoint jersey needle, sewing machine with a stretch stitch or narrow zigzag stitch, sharp pins, basic sewing tools.
Useful to have to hand: Pattern weights, overlocker, coverstitch machine
Sizing
It is vitally important, when sewing your own clothes, to take accurate measurements of your body, and not rely on the sizing you expect to buy on the high street. For this pattern we have opted to use sizing XS-XXL, which approximately covers UK sizes 8-24. Measure yourself first to choose the right size for you!
