Workshop Terms and Conditions

Payment and Bookings

All Workshops and private lessons are to be paid for in full in advance to reserve your place.

We do not offer refunds on class bookings.

Workshops take a great deal of prior planning and preparation on the part of the teacher and admin staff. All cancellations forfeit their booking fee.  As a small business it is extremely difficult for us to absorb these costs and keep our prices low.

Class Materials

For Live Online Workshops Class materials will be sent out up to one week before the date of the workshop.  Any materials that you are required to bring for the workshop will be listed on the workshop booking page.  The materials vary for different workshops so please get in touch if you have any queries.

Date Changes

Workshop bookings are eligible for date changes or exchanges up to 14 days in advance of workshop date.  You must inform us in writing for any changes you wish to make.  While we will endeavour to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee a suitable workshop at a date which suits all parties will be available.

We cannot offer exchanges or alternative dates if notice is given less than 7 days in advance of a workshop or class.  In fairness to all customers we cannot allow exceptions to these rules in case of emergency or illness.  If you can't make the workshop at last minutes notice, we suggest you offer your place to a friend!

If we have to cancel

If we are required to cancel a workshop for any reason, full refund or alternative dates will be offered.  If this happens we will work with you to arrange a suitable new date for you to attend.

If you choose to attend a new class, the full t&cs will apply to the new booking and a refund will not be offered after the initial cancellation by us.

Late Policy

Workshops are planned to allow reasonable time to complete the project with some socialising time factored in, you are expected to work at a reasonable pace so if projects are not completed you should expect to complete the project in your own time.

If you are more than 20 minutes late to your class, you may not be able to join.  You will not be offered an alternative class or a refund.  Once classes have started you are likely to have missed important information and we cannot hold up the other learners to catch you up.  It isn't fair on the other paying customer if we have to delay the session.

Payment Plans

For workshops costing £120 or more, a payment plan can be put in place with prior agreement.  Payment plans require 50% of the total workshop cost to be paid at time of booking, with the remaining payment due 7 days before workshop date.  Deposits on workshops are non-refundable.
