Get active with layerable leisurewear separates. Perfect for getting out, getting active and doing stuff. The pattern pack includes both the top and the leggings in one, so you can make either garment over and over. They work just as well as lounge wear as they do activewear!
The top has an interesting crossover strap and keyhole detail at the back and is finished with elastic around the neckline and armholes for ultimate flexibility. A long length top provides comfort and easy range of movement, without feeling sticky and bound.
The leggings feature a shaped waistband yoke which sits neatly just below the natural waistline to provide comfort and security. The side-seam-free style is ideal for floor exercises. These leggings have been designed to be the ultimate pattern for casual and active leggings. You will be reaching for it again and again.

As with all My Handmade Wardrobe Patterns, you will find a beautiful instructions booklet included, with clear, step by step photographs to guide you through making your active wardrobe. We want to make sewing your own wardrobe as accessible as possible, so we skip over the jargon and keep things clear as possible for you.
This pattern is ideal for adventurous beginners as it is a 'Skills Building' pattern, which builds on previous sewing projects and helps you learn new skills. Because this garment is made from jersey you can make it on a standard sewing machine or with an overlocker. We'll guide you through the process either way!
To sew the Action Pack, choose a medium weight jersey fabric with 4 way stretch which doesn’t roll too much on the raw edges, sports or swimwear Lycra, cotton with elastane and ponti roma are all ideal. You want around 40% stretch, and good retention for the leggings.
On the My Handmade Wardrobe Blog you will find tutorials for everything we couldn't fit in the instructions - from how to use PDF patterns to how to measure your body for dressmaking. We've also got lots of ideas for simple hacks to make the pattern your own.
