This fun and feminine, button-through skirt features swishy flared panels to create a cute 70s retro look. You can choose to add patch pockets, belt loops and jeans buttons to the front opening.
We think this style would look fab in chunky corduroy for a cosy Autumn look, linen for a cool beach style to pop on over a swimsuit or in denim for a classic look for all seasons.

Suitable for medium to heavy weight woven fabrics including:
Corduroy, denim, linen, ramie, non-stretch velvet, upholstery fabric, quilting cotton, midweight canvas, viscose twill.
You will also need:
Jeans or other 2-3cm buttons: 5 for short version, 8 for knee length version
Medium weight Iron-on interfacing. Optional: Topstitching thread
Equipment:
Sharp fabric scissors, suitable needles for your fabric, sewing machine, sharp pins, basic sewing tools. Useful: Pattern weights, overlocker, coverstitch machine.
It is vitally important, when sewing your own clothes, to take accurate measurements of your body, and not rely on the sizing you expect to buy on the high street. For this pattern we have opted to use sizing XS-XXL, which approximately covers UK sizes 8-24. Measure yourself first to choose the right size for you!
